WORKS ON LOAN – It’s been a while since we’ve done an update about where else around the world you might find the collection. Three works by Vancouver native Andrew Dadson are currently on display not far from us at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle as a part of his Brink Prize exhibition. Dadson is the biennial winner of the Henry’s Brink prize, which is awarded to a promising artist from either Washington, Oregon or British Columbia. Lara Favaretto’s confetti room Tutti giu per terra is currently on display at MOMA PS1 in New York, and two of our Elad Lassry films are slated for inclusion in an exhibition of his work at PAC Milan beginning in July. We’re also preparing two upcoming major loans: a number of our Richard Jackson works will be travelling to Orange County Museum of Art for his major retrospective in February 2013. The retrospective will also be travelling to Munich and Ghent following the exhibition at OCMA. In addition, two of our large Mike Kelley installations have been requested for all or some parts of his world-touring retrospective beginning at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, then onto Centre Pompidou in Paris, MOMA in NY and concluding at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
