Favaretto’s art practice explores the absurdities of modern life, consumer culture, and obsolescence through the juxtaposition of binary opposites. Martin, PhD is an art historian, author and the Deputy Director and Chief Curator at Dia Art Foundation. She is the recipient of the 2015 Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant.
